I want you to know how the content on this site gets made, because you should know what you’re reading, especially when affiliate links are involved.
Research process
Every article starts with research. I pull from product specs, manufacturer documentation, user reviews across multiple platforms, and my own experience running these systems at home. When I write about a product, I’ve either used it myself or spent hours reading what other people have to say about it.
I cross-reference multiple sources before stating anything as fact. If I’m unsure about something, I say so.
Writing
I use AI tools to assist with research and drafting. Every article goes through a multi-step review and editing process before publishing. Recommendations are based on product data, user feedback, and hands-on testing rather than affiliate commission rates.
Affiliate links
Some articles include links to products on Amazon through the Amazon Associates program. If you buy something through one of these links, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate relationships do not influence what I recommend. I’ve written negative things about products that have affiliate links, and I’ve recommended products where I don’t earn anything. The goal is to be useful, not to push sales.
Every article that contains affiliate links includes a disclosure at the top.
Corrections and updates
If I get something wrong, I want to fix it. If you spot an error, please contact me . When I update an article, I note the update date in the article metadata.
